Losing Weight Doesn't Have to Be a Death Sentence - Discover How I Lost a Total of 52 Pounds

losing weight  doesn't have to be a painful experience, it can be quite exciting and liberating when you see your body change before your eyes.
In fact, embarking on my latest and last diet, I lost 7 pounds in my first 2 weeks which motivated me to stay with it.
24 weeks later and 52 pounds lighter I can reflect back and say that this has been the best one I've ever done.
With other diets I've been on, the issue for me was always food. I didn't like being told I could only eat this much and if I wanted this I had to trade that for it so that it all even out in the crazy world of points balancing. The restrictions were limiting and frustrating for me.
If I knew I was going to begin a low calorie diet, I would binge like crazy the night before, kind of like the "eat drink and be merry" attitude. Then I'd get cravings the next day and by my 3rd or 4th day have already blown it big time.
This time around has been great because I haven't felt the same restrictions I have in so many other diets I've done in the past.
I eat my set meals but I can mix and change them up depending upon my preference for that day.
Here's what I would eat over a 2 day period to see what I mean.
DAY 1
Meal 1 - Scrambled eggs
Meal 2 - Home made fruit salad
Meal 3 - Steak With Sweet Potatoes
Meal 4 - pumpkin seed & Almonds
Meal 5 - CHEAT - 3 hour cheat
DAY 2
Meal 1 - Breakfast wrap
Meal 2 - Home made fruit salad
Meal 3 - Papaya-Avocado Salad
Meal 4 - cottage cheese & Tuna Crisp bread
Meal 5 - Red Meat and Steamed Veggies
Never once did I feel like I was starving or hungry.
When it comes to losing weight, you really do have to be happy with what you eat because diet is 50% of your weight loss equation. If you don't like the food, you won't be able to stick to it and you should never have to force yourself into eating something you don't want to. You won't be in it for the long hall otherwise.
So to lose weight  without feeling like you are missing out, make sure you're happy with your diet and your portions and when you find that balance, the weight will just drop off from your body.
